Lorraine Sachs Garcia, Auctioneer, Realtor®, Owner of Sachs 5th Auction and Real Estate, attended the 2015 NAA International Auctioneers Conference and Show held in Addison, Texas in July 2015.
The Conference hosted over 1,100 attendees. Lorraine took advantage of this to network and discuss the auction industry with other professional auctioneers from all over.
Lorraine took part in various all-day classes throughout the week. However, they did let her have dinner... Once.
Lorraine already has the CAI (Certified Auctioneers Institute), and the CES (Certified Estate Specialist) designations from the NAA. With the completion of classes she took, as well as supplying evidence of real world experience, Lorraine will soon hold the BAS (Benefit Auctioneer Specialist), and the ATS (Auction Technology Specialist) designations. All NAA designations require classroom work and evidence of years of real world experience. Congratulations Lorraine!
Our next auction includes this antique Wheeler and Wilson treadle sewing machine, with a "coffin" cover. How cool is this!
We also have some fantastic ephemera items for the history buff.
Many more items. Visit our Auction Preview page for more information.
